AggreGuard™
CellRev's proprietary AggreGuard™ reagent prevents the aggregation of microcarriers and cell clusters in adherent cell culture processes.
AggreGuard™ is a mixture of natural enzymes which gently and efficiently prevent the aggregation of microcarriers. When added to cell culture media, AggreGuard™ facilitates significant yield improvements as cells continue growing without aggregating over time.
This product has been specifically validated for use in VERO protocols but is available in trial format for different applications.
CellRev have demonstrated that their proprietary reagent, AggreGuard™, prevents the aggregation of microcarriers in adherent cell manufacturing.
CellRev can evidence up to a 75% increase in cell yield when using a commercially available VERO cell line seeded on to Corning® Untreated MCs. After 3 days, AggreGuard™ was added to the culture media facilitating cell growth in multilayers on the MCs for 60 days without aggregation. MCs were shown to aggregate from day 5 without AggreGuard™.
AggreGuard™ increases cell yield of existing processes and improves cell viability.
