CellRev provides cellular product manufacturers with bioprocessing solutions to enable scalable cost-efficient adherent cell culture. The company has several patents and a disruptive continuous cell processing platform. First products have now been launched with a large launch planned for 2024.

In order to support us achieving our ambitious goals, we are now seeking to recruit a Scientist. We are looking for a molecular biology scientist, with experience in enzymatic assays and data analysis, to support our work. You will be responsible in running cell-based experiments and subsequently evaluating cell behaviour and supporting our team with kinetic based assays. You will be working as integral part of a team.

Key Activities & Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for experimental design and set-up
  • Responsible of performing a broad range of experiments and assays
  • Responsible for data collection and analysis
  • Preparing reports and sharing data between relevant teams
  • Participate in meetings/experimental design with our engineering team when required
  • Updating H&S and SOPs documentation
  • Keep up to date with pertinent developments within relevant field of interest
  • Aid in the training and development of junior staff
  • No less than a Master Degree in Biological sciences or equivalent subject(s)
  • No less than 3 years of lab-work experience
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques (i.e. DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, RT-qPCR and Western blotting)
  • Cell biology techniques such and immunohistochemistry / fluorescent microscopy, preferably with HT HC analyzers
  • Experience in cell culture and aseptic technique, with added experience in seed train generation a bonus
  • Experience with Enzyme Kinetics (theoretical and practical)
  • Respect deadlines and contribute to project planning
  • Independent, well organised and proactive work style
  • Open-minded and communicative team-player
  • Able to multi-task and work under time pressure
  • Fluent in written and oral English
  • Experience in industrial setting – established or start up
  • Knowledgeable in bioengineering and bioprocessing
  • Knowledge of Quality systems (e.g. GMP; GLP)
